Statement of the Coordinating Council of Russian-Armenian Organizations in connection with the adoption by the US Senate of the Resolution on the Armenian Genocide in Turkey

in Russian The Coordinating Council of the Russian-Armenian organizations (CC RAO), like the whole Armenian people, with great satisfaction accepted the news of the unanimous adoption by the US Senate on December 12, 2019 of the Resolution S.Res.150 on the recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide in Turkey in 1915-1923. This historic decision, made by US senators, is the triumph of the justice of good over evil. It is a tribute to the innocent 1.5 million Armenians killed by Turkish executioners.
