Again and again we write about what is hushed up and what many do not know.
1 — Nazism in Germany had direct and deep Turkish roots since 1920s
The book “Atatürk in the Nazi Imagination” was published in November 2014 (320 pages). Author — Stefan Ihrig, Historian at University of Haifa (Israel), Co-Editor in «The Journal of Holocaust Research».
The book is available in Amazon — https://www.amazon.com/Atat%C3%BCrk-Nazi-Imagination-Stefan-Ihrig/dp/0674368371/ref=tmm_hrd_swatch_0?_encoding=UTF8&qid=1626098320&sr=8-1
There is a large article about this book in “Daily Beast” — https://www.thedailybeast.com/the-20th-century-dictator-most-idolized-by-hitler
We translated it in Russian — https://miaban.ru/info/turkey/turkey-germany-1/
Based on the book the German TV channel ZDF published on April 5, 2021 a two-minute video in German — https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jICRFdx2n1c

2 — Turkey was not neutral in World War II
Turkey supported Nazi Germany in many ways. And this was logical, since Turkey was de facto the founder of Nazism in Germany. https://aga-tribunal.info/en/turkey-5-en/
3 — For Russia, the theme of the Great Patriotic war (WWII) is one of the most sacred
But the Russian authorities make a mistake — they mainly talk only about the crimes of Nazism during the Second World War, but do not talk about the roots of Nazism since 1920s. In ordinary criminal law, the analysis of the roots of even domestic crime is mandatory, but this is not done in the issue of Nazism and its crimes of genocide.
4 — The crimes of Nazi Germany are also a Genocide against the Soviet people
Official Moscow has started giving such qualification since 2019. According to the new «Without statute of limitations» movement and archival documents, the Nazis and their accomplices killed 13,684,692 Soviet civilians (not soldiers), in that number 11,520,379 died in the occupied territory and 2,164,313 died in exile in forced labor. For the first time, cases were initiated under the Article «Genocide» of the Criminal Code, and in the fall of 2020 there was the first official trial for a specific crime. For the first time, thousands of documents from the archives were collected, and in 2020 dozens of volumes about crimes of genocide in 23 regions of Russia (and also separately in Belarus) were printed.
On April 19, 2021, for the first time in history, the Day of Remembrance of the victims of the Genocide of the Soviet people was marked. In all schools and universities of the Russian Federation passed the so-called day of united action. Investigations continue also in Belarus (see, for example, the article at the end of May 2021 http://prokuratura.gov.by/ru/media/sobytiya-i-meropriyatiya/o-khode-rassledovaniya-ugolovnogo-dela-o-genotside-naseleniya-belarusi-v-gody-velikoy-otechestvennoy/)
On July 7, 2021, the Attorney General of Belarus spoke at the international conference in St. Petersburg, Russia with a report on the Genocide committed by Nazi Germany (text of the report — http://prokuratura.gov.by/upload/%D0%A2%D0%B5%D0%B7%D0%B8%D1%81%D1%8B.pdf)
That is why it is a priority for truth and peace to support this new movement, but at the same time to spread out and fix the following theses:
- about the deep Turkish roots of German Nazism
- that the Genocide of Christian nations in Turkey was a direct forerunner of the Holocaust and the Genocide of the Soviet people committed by Nazi Germany
- about the de facto participation of Turkey on the side of Nazi Germany during WWII
- on the continuation of the genocidal neo-fascist policy of the Turkish tandem.
Nazism in Germany, generated at the beginning of the 20th century by a Turkish parent, has long remained in history, but the parent himself is alive as before and gives rise to new monsters and crimes against humanity.
5 — Initiative of the public organization «Crossroad» («Khachmeruk»)
In addition to information and analytical work, we do speak publicly, in particular:
- at the round table in Moscow on June 17, 2021 https://miaban.ru/info/russia/round-17-6-2021/
- at the conference in Krasnodar city on June 22, 2021 https://miaban.ru/info/russia/round-22-6-2021/
- at the meeting in the Administration of one of the districts of St. Petersburg on June 30, 2021 https://www.armspb.org/post/anka-30-6-2021.
On July 9, 2021, we sent a letter to the Prosecutor General of Armenia Artur Davtyan, highlighting also this topic (he participated in the conference of Prosecutors General in St. Petersburg in July 2021).
This is an absolutely independent initiative (without the support of any political party or sponsors) and despite the fact that so far almost no one responds and supports this initiative, we will persistently continue it. Raphael Lemkin was also not perceived for years, and then his ideas were accepted with severe distortions (they almost do not write about this), and Lemkin died early just at the age of 59, he died being alone, in poverty and deep disappointment (by the way, his native US joined the Convention on Genocide only at the times of President Reagan in 1988, 30 years after Lemkin’s death).
