Chess Federation of Western Armenia was established
The Council (Presidium) of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Western Armenia on June 21 2017 resolved (decision № 5-02 / 21.06.2017) to establish the Chess Federation of the Republic of Western Armenia (CFRWA).
It was decided that the Republic of Western Armenia will hold its first open online chess tournament during the year 2017. Vahan Babakhanyan appointed as a responsible for CFRWA.
